Typewritten and Handwritten Memoirs, Photocopied Photograph, Photocopied Pages From Family History Book. Sheffield applied to be part of the V-12 program while a freshman at Brigham Young University. The V-12 took college students and sent them to different schools to become Naval officers. He describes his schooling and of serving in the Pacific during and after the war. He spent time in Tokyo Bay, the Philippines, and many months at sea traveling from the United States to various locations and back and forth to other assignments. He was aboard the U.S.S. Alnitah. Also included are several pages outlining his life and church service after the war.
